Besana-Lovati Inc. is a subsidiary of CMB Besana and Lovati Fratelli. These two Italian firms set out to create a professional sales and service company to serve the flat glass industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The company was officially opened on June 1, 1990. While rather small in its early days, Besana-Lovati has grown to be a major supplier of glass working machinery, diamond and polish wheels, suppliers, and technical service, with offices located in Winston Salem, N.C. and Whittier, California. Several employee and independent sales agents cover the entire North American Continent. Our range of glass working machinery is vast and is best known for its heavy duty "over-built" construction, necessary in today's continuous production environment.

CMB Besana has a wide variety of equipment which is the most respected brand throughout the world.
Lovati Fratelli is the most respected name in shape edging and beveling machinery manufacturing in the world.

When Besana-Lovati opened in 1990 we wanted to provide our customers only with the highest quality diamond products so naturally went with Lanzetta Aldo Diamond Products. Lanzetta offers peripheral, cup, specialty profile and custom diamond wheels. They also offers ultra high quality drill bits and router bits. Besana-Lovati stocks an extensive inventory of diamond wheels, drill bits, routers, polishing wheels and consumable supplies.

In 1994, Besana-Lovati had the opportunity to introduce the North American market to two new partners, Quaranta and OST. Quaranta builds the best washing machines in the world according to our customers. Our Customers say, "its hard to outdo the best". Quaranta has a full range of washing machines for every type of glass; be it coated, thin, heavy, large or small, Quaranta builds them all.

Besana-Lovati also brought on board OST, which is Optical Surface Technologies, which resides in England. OST manufactures all types of polishing compounds and we proudly represent the Regipol line of rare earth cerium oxides.
